I HAVE BEEN RAK'ED!

VirginaG of the Cricut Message Board was offering a RAK for earning her first bug head. She wanted ideas how to decorate her husband's truck for the month of January. I am happy to announce that my hubby just got back from serving 14 months in Iraq! He arrived home today. He is stationed in Louisiana so that is where he currently is until his leave at the end of the month. I am counting down the days till he arrives to me!!!! (January 24th to be exact!) I am beyond thrilled to know that we are at least in the same country! Plus I get to call him and not wait by the phone to hear from him! Today is such a happy day!!!

My Expression Storage Solution

*Mrs.D* of the Cricut Message Board gave everyone this awesome idea! The Kobalt 26" plastic tool box is a perfect home for the Cricut Expression! It is normally $19.99 but when I bought mine, it was only $15.99. You can find them at Lowe's in the tool section.

My New Paper Trimmer

On Cyber Monday, Joann's was offering some awesome sales. I decided to purchase the Fiskars Desktop Rotary Trimmer...they had it for $24.99 (plus free ship!) (normally $60 not on sale) so how could I resist. While I was waiting for it to be shipped, I was reading several reviews about the MM trimmer and several others on the Cricut Message Board. I was starting to regret my purchase. Long story short, my Fiskars trimmer arrived and I decided to 'play' with it and see if I wanted to keep it...and YES!!!! I want to keep it! I will never part with my new friend!!! We are going to be an extremely happy couple!  You do have to buy replacement blades and cutting bars but they aren't expensive especially if you use a M's coupon. Plus you can buy additional blades for scoring, perforating, deckle, pinking, wave, and scallop!!! So anyways, give the Fiskars Desktop Rotary Trimmer a try if you are in the market for a new trimmer! Hope this helps anyone who can't decide what trimmer to purchase! 

A Bug Head RAK

On the Cricut Message Board, I just hit 500 posts which means I have received my "first bug head". They now refer to me as a "Cricuteer". To celebrate my bug head, I offered a RAK (random act of kindness). Other message board members submitted their name and I pick a number.

So congrats Pearls623...and the ironic thing...she just offered an awesome RAK for finally earning her bug head!!! I seriously can't believe how many people responded with their posts. I am working on another RAK for the month of January as something exciting is happening in my life (You will just have to wait and see!) However throughout the entire night, one particular MB member was posting like a mad woman...Kimberly216!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I had the patience to count all the posts! Soooooo as a surprise RAK, I am going to go to M's tomorrow to pick up her very own X150!  Anyways, I am new to the MB but I have never seen a RAK go this crazy! Seriously...We had 3190 posts and 3078 were in just a little over three hours!

I was RAKed...and for those who are wondering what I am talking about...I have received gifts through Random Acts of Kindness. The Cricut Message Board is a wonderful place to meet new friends and share ideas. Two message board members sent me the items just because! I am such a lucky duck!
